Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 2026
1. Introduction
Fox ("the App") respects your privacy and is designed to minimize data collection whenever possible.
This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you use Fox and how that information is used.
2. Information We Collect
Fox may process limited information required to operate the service.
- Device Preferences: Settings such as selected platform filters or interface preferences may be stored locally on your device.
- Usage & Analytics Data: Basic usage events (for example, which tab you open or which time slot you select) may be collected to understand feature performance and improve the App.
- Diagnostic Data: Crash reports and related diagnostic information may be collected to improve stability and reliability.
- Push Notifications: If you enable notifications, the App may receive and process a push notification token (such as an FCM token) to deliver notifications.
- Public Market Data: The App retrieves publicly available streaming statistics such as viewer counts and channel numbers.
3. How Data Is Used
Information is used solely to:
- Provide analytics and recommendations
- Maintain app functionality
- Improve performance and reliability
- Prevent abuse or technical misuse
Fox does not sell user data or use personal data for advertising.
4. Third-Party Services
Fox uses the following third-party services to operate and improve the App. These providers may process information on our behalf as described below and under their own privacy policies:
- Google Firebase Analytics: Used to measure usage and understand how features perform (for example, navigation events).
- Google Firebase Crashlytics: Used to diagnose crashes and improve stability.
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): Used to deliver push notifications (if enabled) using a notification token.
- Groq (AI Processing): Used to generate AI responses when you use the AI assistant feature.
5. AI Processing
Fox includes AI-powered features that generate responses based on questions submitted by users.
When you submit a message to the AI assistant, the text you enter may be transmitted to a third-party
AI processing service (Groq) in order to generate a response.
- Who receives the data: Groq (AI processing provider).
- What data is sent: Your typed message and, to keep the conversation coherent, recent chat context may be sent. If you use voice input, your speech is transcribed on-device and the resulting text may also be sent.
- Technical data: Like most internet services, the AI provider may also process network metadata (such as your IP address and request headers) as part of handling the request.
- Purpose: To generate the AI response you request and operate the AI feature.
- Sensitive information: Please do not include sensitive personal information (for example, health data, government IDs, passwords, or payment details) in AI messages.
Before any message is sent to the AI processing service, the app clearly informs users that their
message will be transmitted and requests their consent. If the user declines, the message is not sent
and the AI feature is not used.
6. Data Storage
Most user preferences are stored locally on the device.
Removing the App will delete locally stored information.
AI chat messages are displayed within the App experience. We do not aim to store AI message content on our servers by default; however, the third-party AI provider may retain and process data according to their own policies.
7. Policy Updates
We may update this policy occasionally to reflect changes in functionality or regulations.
The latest version will always be available on this page.
